The Finland Futures Research Centre at Turku School of Economics (FFRC) recently played host to the international consortium, marking a pivotal moment in our ongoing commitment to advancing the field of strategic foresight for sustainability. The event, took place on March 9th and 10th, 2023.
As part of the project, we conducted over 130 stakeholder interviews. These insightful discussions revealed critical challenges and exciting opportunities within the green transition across our three target sectors. The findings from these interviews now serve as the bedrock for sectoral industry co-development projects. Additionally, they inform the creation of new educational courses tailored for both students and industry professionals, further reinforcing our dedication to sustainable development.
Moreover, during the consortium meeting, we reached a significant milestone by hosting our first-ever public webinar. This groundbreaking event garnered widespread interest, with over 140 registered participants engaging in valuable discussions about the future of sustainability and foresight. This initiative demonstrates our unwavering commitment to knowledge-sharing and public engagement.
We are pleased to announce that the SF4S project, which began in July 2022, will continue to drive our mission forward until June 2025.
