Exploring opportunity spaces of ”the preferable” as pathways to circular transition.

Paving the way for holistic circular transitions, foreseeing pathways to pursue, exploring preferred future scenarios, plays a crucial role. In the Erasmus+ Strategic Foresight for Sustainability project, Kolding School of Design drafted a set of tools in the nexus of Strategic Foresight and Design Thinking, designed to foster collaborative envisioning of opportunity spaces within preferred scenarios and the ecosystems to support them, while forming light structures towards the transition and present integration.

To foster the optimal conditions for informal knowledge sharing; utilizing the power of design thinking and the creativity of interacting playfully and bringing physical materials into the idea generation, the interaction was conducted as a three day-in-person workshop. Attending were participants from the Health and Food sector.
